the book “the giver” beginning starts in the future in the season of December when jonas  is outside and is riding his bike he gets scared by a plan.

Wednesday the day a kid named Kyle wished he didn’t have to go to St. Joe elementary school. He woke up and got dressed he yawn putting on his clothes when he hears  his dad calling “Kyle breakfast is ready” Kyle puts his clothes on as fast as he can and he rushed down the stairs excited. He thinks am I going to  have waffles, or pancakes, or even better. He runs around the corner to see oatmeal. He thought to himself out of all if the things that we could have for breakfast we are having oatmeal. He sat down on a chair near the table were his oatmeal is steaming  in a bowl. Kyle’s dad said “come on eat your oatmeal before it gets cooled” when Kyle says ” do I have to eat oatmeal and why are we having oatmeal again for breakfast this is the third time this week”. Kyle’s dad said, “yes again we ran out of milk for cereal so you eat or not”. Kyle sat down to eat his oatmeal after all he was hungry but he also wanted something different then oatmeal. Kyle stomach sounded like a pack of hungry dogs.

When Kyle got done with his oatmeal he got on the bus. When Kyle was walking down the walk way of the bus a bully named Austin tripped Kyle everyone on the bus started to laugh at Kyle. He got up mad at Austin and kept on walking to the back of the bus.

He arrived at school on the bus that had a lot of people seating with each other but one seat. The seat Kyle was in. He got off the bus and walk to school and to his locker. He put his stuff in his locker and went to his class. He was the smartest in his class an everyone would copy off his work are called him a nerd and once he was out of class Austin would bully him and knock his stuff on the ground. It went on like this for a long time him being alone getting bulled and no one was there to help him. Un till a new student named Jessy was getting bulled by three girls. Kyle didn’t know their names but he felt like he was doing something wrong by just sitting there not doing anything to help the girl that is getting bulled so he walked up to the girls and said leave her alone. The three girls turned around and looked at Kyle. Kyle was now shaking and his heart was beating faster than it has ever in his life. He heard a teacher walking down the hall this was the right time to scream for help he thought and he did “HELP” that was when the principal walk around the corner over to Kyle and when the three girls saw the principal they ran, Kyle walked to the girl that was on the ground crying. Kyle said to the girl are you okay and the girl didn’t reply to him the principal walked up to Kyle and said she would take care of the problem and told Kyle that he could leave and when he was about to walk away the girl said thank you to Kyle. Kyle turn around and said ” are you saying thank you to me” she nodded yes.

Ever since that day he had a friend. So we all think that it is not okay to bully and if you see someone that is getting bullied you should always speak up and tell a teacher or an elder so they can help the person that is getting bullied or they can also help you if you need help. So if you can stop people from getting bullied. But there is not just one type of bullying there is cyber bullying and physical bullying and others, but I also have some facts that can help you with those  types of bullying. You can get help from elders or if you at school you can get help from a principle or teacher. Cyber bullying you can block the user if they keep sending you hate mail. Also don’t say anything back to them because they will know that you are paying attention and they will keep bullying you. You can tell an adult and they can take it from there. If you do that they will probably never text you back or make fun of you ever again.

Breaking news high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools have got the message. Fort Wayne community schools are making a change in school wear. Parents will have received school uniforms for the rest of the year for students to wear. High schools like Northside and Snider High school will receive uniforms next year.

Fort Wayne community schools teachers have spread the news to the students and there has been what they call a break out of behaver. The students do not like that they have to wear uniforms. The students are blaming the teachers until they told the students that they want to see how they would react if they had to wear uniforms. The students are settling down now that they know that they don’t have to were uniforms.
